The children are growing in wisdom and stature.

Magdalene reports another good week at BCO this past week. God has truly blessed our efforts to provide for our children the type of place that others in that country can only dream of. I think about the fact that these 11, soon to be 13, children are some of the luckiest children in the country of Cameroon. They have something so many others don't. They have a loving family, adults who care about their spiritual life, and an abundance of food and shelter. They have a solid home built on solid principles found in God's word.

Magdalene did say that a condition which I am assuming is much like the chicken pox here is making its way through the children at this time. They are doing fine and are being treated. They continue to grow in their knowledge of God's word and in physical stature. Brother David Ballard tells me every time I talk with him how impressed he is with the children and how much they have learned. He said they can literally stand before you and quote at least 12 to 15 scriptures without missing a beat. Brother Mendel is doing such a good job with them while at the same time keeping up with his own studies there in the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Wotutu.

During the first week of June, Brother Mendel will lead an effort to build some concrete steps from the kitchen door to the outdoor kitchen behind the home. There are a couple of hills between the two places that can get slippery, especially when it rains. These steps will provide Emma Grace, Theresia, and Ruth some stable footing when going to and from the kitchens.

One last thing to inform you about is that Simplis has a protrusion on his right shoulder blade. The only explanation I am receiving at this point is that it is a nodule that is growing steadily. I have requests in to Magdalene to get more information about it. She said the doctor told her it could be surgically removed but there was no further explanation. I am currently trying to find out if it is something that if removed, if it would be able to come back later or if there is anything more to it. Please keep Simplis in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for this work and all who invest so much time in it.

God Bless,
